Overview
Coo-Var Suregrip® has been formulated to provide a rough, anti-slip floor coating that helps prevent slips and falls in areas with foot and light truck traffic. This ready-mixed floor paint is ideal for suitably primed concrete, wood, metal and GRP which provides a rough, anti-slip finish when dry. The added aggregate makes it suitable for indoor and outdoor use it provides a durable, coloured finish on boats, steps and stairways, disabled ramps, doorways, and more.

Preparation
All surfaces should be clean, dry, and sound ensure to thoroughly sweep the floor to remove any debris.
- Concrete surfaces including power floated, granolithic and smooth surfaces should be abraded to create a key. Either sand the surface or use to prepare the surface.
- New concrete must be allowed to cure for 3 months, apply a 10% thinned coat of to prime and seal the surface prior to applying Coo-Var Suregrip®.
- Other surfaces have to be prepared and primed with the suitable primer for that substrate.
- Previously painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased, and sanded to create a key.
- Remove all loose and flaking material to leave a smooth surface.
- Treat any knots or staining with an appropriate stain blocker.
Application
We recommend always performing a test on the surface to be painted to ensure you are happy with the finished results.
- Stir well before use and apply using a brush or short/medium roller.
- Recoat in 16 hours and hard dry in 24 hours.
- It will achieve full hardness in 5-7 days.
